Core Values
Good Shepherd’s core values outline our philosophy on working with one another and with our program participants in a way that is inherently positive and strength-based to get the best results from all who are part of our work.
Teamwork
We consult, network, appreciate each others' roles, function with flexibility and, most of all, promote and use multiple avenues of communication.
Communication
We commit to improving our verbal, listening, and feedback skills. We take responsibility for creating and using structures that support communication.
Respect
We consider each person a unique individual and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity, confidentiality, personal differences, and individual needs.
Empowerment
We seek opportunities for choice, change, growth, advocacy, and use of resources. We believe in each person's potential- supporting every individual's skills, power, readiness to grow, and need to "try again."
